Creative / Recreational Projects

[<1 Minute Read]

A curated selection of recreational projects I’ve created outside of work. Designed either for friends or purely for fun. Working with clients or within businesses often requires adherence to their house styles, so I use my own time to explore other ideas more freely.

Moshimo Collective

This is a collection of pieces for my friends. Together they create content for Twitch and YouTube and asked me to improve their branding.

I first created the MC Logo you can see here, it is 3D and rotated sligtly for depth. I then took their ideas and incorporated them into the logo and created custom backgrounds for a personalised version.

The whole experience was really rewarding for me, essentially being afforded creative liberty. They are certainly flashy!

Photography

These images were captured on a DSLR and mastered using Adobe Lightroom. Most of these were just taken for fun, however the monochrome cherry blossom was part of concept for an advertisement campaign.

While casual in origin, I find it is advantageous to have a stock of primary resources that I can draw upon, should I need them in a professional concept.

Illustration

Although physical illustration is not one of my strengths, I am capable to some degree. These images demonstrate some of the experimentation I have done with drawing people and faces.

Generally I will play to my strengths and use Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator to take a rough drawing and manipulate it to look far more refined, which you can see in some of my other pieces. If not creating them entirely digitally.

Miscellaneous

A handful of additional pieces from various collections. Including conceptual artwork, intended for use on attire as well as a custom social media profile for a friend.
